In preparing for the Holodomor Commemoration on November 28, 2015, our “Borscht Brigade” began work two days in advance. For many years, our ladies have provided the “Hungry Lunch” at the Commemoration. To change it up from the usual broth and dark bread, we switched over to borscht-in-a cup with dark rye bread.
